Dear Members,

The office is now re-open. We look forward to seeing you at tonight’s Membership Meeting from 4:30–6:30 p.m. at IBEW Local 58. 

Please note that the DFT office is temporarily closed today due to an emergency evacuation of the Wellness Plan building.  We will provide updates as we receive them when we are allowed to return back to our office.  Tonight's Membership Meeting, from 4:30 -- 6:30 p.m. at IBEW Local 58, is still scheduled as planned.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Damon Keith, the legendary federal court judge. A 1939 graduate of Detroit Northwestern High School, he was a champion for public education and in 1971 ruled that Pontiac schools should be racially integrated. A Detroit elementary school was named in his honor in 1974. We lift up a prayer for his family in their hour of need.
