We are temporarily postponing the March General Membership Meeting. This is a precautionary measure as we want to protect the health of our membership. As many of you are probably aware, there have been two cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Michigan. Please make sure you adhere to the necessary precautions and tips provided by the Detroit Health Department.
HEALTHY TIPS FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
To best ensure you and your family remain healthy, always practice good hygiene habits:
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick—and stay home when you are sick!
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and wash your hands
- Use bleach or similar solution to clean commonly used objects or surfaces

We understand the situation is fluid and we will do our best to keep our members abreast of developing information between the District and our members. We will reschedule the meeting for a later date. Thank you.
