FACULTY NEGOTIATIONS SURVEY
PLEASE RETURN TO CHUCK COX BY FEBRUARY 16, 2011
On January 19, 2011, the union’s executive council voted to re-open the contract for negotiations. The current contract expires on June 30, 2011.
Please help us represent you by answering the following question:
Which workplace issues or conditions hinder or prevent you from teaching effectively?
Feel free to provide as many details and examples as you wish. What would be an effective solution to the problem(s)? Use this sheet for your ideas and comments. Write on the reverse and add additional sheets as needed.
You may remain anonymous, or not, as you choose. If you wish to be contacted, remember to provide contact information.
Please note that not all workplace issues are contractual, but most are. If you raise an issue that cannot be solved through the contract, we will still do our best to help you solve the problem.
AFT-Kanawha is currently working to build support for public education and strengthen our relationships with other community stakeholders. We are seeking your help in developing a list of individuals and organizations to contact so that we can discuss our common concerns and ways to work together.
